We can send a man to the moon but we can't get an email hyperlink in Smartsheet? +1 for this feature.

I vote for this feature also! I'm using a Smartsheet template set for new hire onboarding and have many places where they'd need to email a team or person.

I would like to vote for this. Adding email into a dashboard with "Mailto" would be beneficial to my org.

I really need this feature as well. The work around of using a URL shortener is not an option as my company doesn't permit the use of such external resources in our spreadsheets due to security concerns.

Also using Smartsheet as a simple CRM and need this functionality.  It would be great if you could select Send on row and email would pre-populate from row.

Did this ever go live?  When I use the work around instructions it wants me to open Outlook in web view.
