Countif not working?

Hello,

I'm using a simple countif function:

=COUNTIF([Ahead/Behind Schedule]2:[Ahead/Behind Schedule]11, "*Ahead*")

in hopes that the result of all the tasks that are Ahead of schedule. However, I am getting a result of zero though I have one cell that does have this in the cell: 28 days Ahead

Anyone see an error in my formula?

=COUNTIF([Ahead/Behind Schedule]2:[Ahead/Behind Schedule]11, "Ahead")
