A question about Row Notification

I found some related discussions to my question, but none with specific answers.

 

I want to be notified anytime that someone makes changes to a row on which my name appears in a particular Smartsheet. However, I do not want notifications for entire columns. For example, my name appears in the Assigned To column on row 266. It has a Finish date of 4/17/17. What I want is to be notified anytime my bosses change the Finish Date or the Assigned To fields of that row. 

 

Is such a thing possible?

Not really, no.

Conditional Notifications are coming soon, so we are told, but it may still not address your issue.

 

Smartsheet does not have a way to have a formula look for a change. 

That would need to be part of the solution if other work-arounds could be modified for your use-case.
