Sumif by year and month
i am trying to sum my values that are registered in a selected year and month without doing a start and finish date.
is there a way of doing it just based on year selected in a drop down and a preset month?

I hope you're well and safe!
Not sure I follow.
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hi Andre
i have a list of order values and the date the order was placed in one sheet in another sheet i want to be able to select the year and for it to add up all the order values that were placed in that year

Try something like this.
I usually use one or multiple Sheet Summary fields to select the criteria.
=SUMIFS({Range Amount}; {Range Date}; MONTH(@cell) = MONTH#; {Range Date}; YEAR(@cell) = YEAR#)
Make sense?
Did it work?
