Help with filtering needed :(

So I have created a filter for 'open' status but when I use the filter I lose the ability to open the subtasks in a header - pic attached. Can anyone assist before I go out of my mind :)

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

Thanks, I will share but there is a lot of data in there so I will create a new one without data just to show the issue. Will send it over when I can - and thanks for replying to quickly :)
