Graph of Summary Numbers

Is it possible to create a graph of the Summary Totals in a report? If not, what is the most efficient way to create a report where I can show the total of the last 7 days for 5 columns of data? It will have to be automatically updated in the graph each day.
I'd rather have a graph, but I also tried to add the report to my dashboard, but it does not show the summary row. Is there a way to do that?
Thanks

You would want to create a sheet and use SUMIFS/COUNTIFS formulas to replicate what you are filtering on.
From there you can create a graph on a dashboard using that data.
If you are able to provide more details such as the criteria you are filtering/counting/summing on for your totals, I would be happy to help put together some formulas with you.

Thanks so much Paul. What I have been doing is adding summary fields to my daily data tracking sheet with formulas to calculate the last 7 days of data. I then take that and add it to a report and then I graph it from there. That works, but it feels very labor-intensive and inefficient to me. Is there a better way or is this the best method right now? What is the reason for Summary in a report if you can see it if you place that report on a dashboard or you can't graph from it?
Thanks for your insight

Ok. I may have misunderstood your setup. Are you using Summary Fields in a Summary Report or are you using a row report and using the new Summary feature within the report?

I"m using a row report and using the Summary feature within the report.

Ok. I haven't tested the Summary feature within a row report on dashboards yet. If you say it is not working, then I would suggest using a sheet that will house some labels and formulas that will calculate your report summaries automatically that can then be displayed in a graph or as a metric widget on a dashboard.
