Link between files, also include deleted or added rows

Dear,

I made a new file "budget" which is linked to my project portfolio sheet. I noticed that when I added a new row to the project portfolio sheet, this new row is not added to my file "budget".

The cells in file "budget" are linked with "link from cell in other sheet".

Is this the correct way to appoach this matter?

How can I create a link and be able to also receive newly added rows ?

    I hope you're well and safe!

    You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.
