Locking cells for dragging so cell for formula stay consistent

I want to lock one cell in a formula so when i drag it will stay on the same cell.

You'd use the Absolute reference function to lock the formula to a specific cell/column.

Hi Mike,

Have you tried using the formula column functionality?

I have noticed when I want to drag information down, a workaround is to fill 2 cells vertically with the same info. When I drag both cells down the data remain consistent instead of automatically counting up.
