¿Automatically sum up child values into Parent Cell?

I'm looking for a solution to automatically sum up child values for selected numeric columns.
There is a workaround that is to use sum(children()) formula, but I dont want to write the formula every time I add Parent rows.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Hello,
There isn't a way to have child cells summed in the parent row without placing that formula in the parent cell.
To make it easier though, you might try either copying and pasting the formula (Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste), or select your parent cell and click the Sum button in the toolbar on the left. Since the Sum button is contextually aware, it'll place a SUM(CHILDREN()) formula in any selected parent row.
