Creating Dashboard takes lot of time - is there any shortcuts available?

Hi,

Creating Dashboard, takes lot of effort & time. Is there anyway that I can select multiple widgets and align, move, shape change like Microsoft ppt?

Can I change the color of the widget background?

Can I change the widget of different type dynamically instead of recreating all over again?

The widget is lacking many cool functionality. It's very restricted.

Can I save the Dashboard into a pdf file and archive it? I use for my biweekly exec review and would love to archive it as I complete the review biweekly. Normal publishing is fine, I would like to save it.
