Why does the dropdown in the Status column not work?

Hi, when I click in a cell in the Status column, nothing happens. It is as if it's locked. It has a column formula and it also links out to a metrics sheet.

Screen shots of the sheet and properties of the column are attached. Thanks for any help.

It's because it's a column formula.

Note: I saw that the column was locked - so I unlocked it. However, the issue still remains. I also disabled the conditional formatting to see if that was the culprit but it was not. So I still do not get a drop down when I click in any cell in that column. Also, it doesn't allow me to type in it, either.

You are correct, I just converted the column formula back to cell and now it works. Any idea why those conflict and is this a 'bug' I should report?

It's by design, so it's not a bug.

The column formula basically locks the column and more. 😉
