Anchoring formula's

I am having an issue where i am trying to anchor formulas at the bottom of my sheet so that way when a new entry is placed onto the sheet it automatically starts utilizing the formula. Where i am running into the issue is i have two formulas that i need to anchor within the same column and they are throwing eachother off. So for example the "Months Difference to Contract-Late+Early (Elliot)" i have a formula that calculates the difference of the two columns to the left and right of it BUT i also have a formula at the top calculating the average. Now the issue comes in when i try to anchor both formulas to the blue line so the newest entry carries the formulas over but the formulas are blocking eachother. Any Suggestions?

@Andrée Starå provided the best solution if you can use column formulas. If you're using forms to enter new data you can set them to add new data to the top of your sheet. That helps ensure formulas copy across from rows below.
