Count Children in the Next Column
Smartsheet Community:
Does Anyone know if you can Create a Formula to Count the Children in the Next Column? For example, the Formula Below is for the Children in the Same Column (Column A).
=" Devs: " + COUNT(CHILDREN())
I would like to use that Same logic but to look in Column B for the Values.
Thanks

Hi @Ray B
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
=" Devs: " + COUNT(CHILDREN(ColumnB@row))
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

I already have that Formula, but in looking at it again I answered my own question.
This is what I wanted lol
=COUNT(Resource@row)
I guess looking at these Formula too long can cause a person to overlook the easiest functions.
Thanks for Helping me See Clearly lol

@Andrée Starå Out of Curiosity Is there a Formula that will Count at the Children in Column B Only, but the Formula is in Column A?
Therefore, the Children in the Formula Row underneath are Empty Cells and the Column B has the Data and Column A Formula must look at the Children in Column B and Capture those Numbers.
Existing Formula for Children in the Same Column
=" Devs: " + COUNT(CHILDREN())
