Countif formula using date column

Hi there. I am trying to enter a formula into Sheet Summary for finding Completed/Delayed/In Progress tasks (from "Status" column) that fall in each fiscal quarter. I understand I should be using the countif formula for each of the statuses using the End Date column and the Status column, but I can't figure out how to set it up. Any thoughts?

    Hi @Samiya Bhuiya

I hope you're well and safe!

Do you have a column indicating which quarter it is already?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

  • Thank you for your response Andrée! The quarters are not indicated in a column, instead I have date columns which indirectly identifies the quarters. I actually need this data for the full fiscal year, not individual quarters, apologies for the oversight. I am attaching a screenshot, hope this will help.

Essentially all I want counted is how many completed tasks I have in FY2122 (01 April 2021-31 March 2022) for example, then how many delayed, how many in progress etc for the same time frame. Then repeat for the next 3 fiscal years.
