Can I ignore a row that is missing data and is corrupting my formulas?

Options

I am having an issue where if there is 1 or multiple rows that are mising the key dates it throws the formulas i have set at the top of my sheet out of whack. For example "Mark Wendling" doesnt have the dates to calculate for "Projected Build Time (Months) (Elliot)" , "Months Difference to Contract-Late +Early (Elliot)" , "Contracted Build Length (Months) (Elliot). Is there anyway i can write into my formulas at the top of my sheet to ignore the "invalid data type"?

I've updated the formula in your sheet for the first section, so they now include an IFERROR at the start, so they show as blank if there are any errors.

    Something like this.

    =IFERROR((NETDAYS([Contract Start Date (Elliot)]@row,
    [End Date Based On Waterfall (Elliot)]@row) / 365) * 12, "")

    Did that work?

    Hi @ECD Auto Design

I hope you're well and safe!

Yes, but I need more information to be able to help.

What's the formula you're using at the top and the cells where the error show?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!

@ECD Auto Design Couple of options:

    1. In your formula you can do a check if the cell has value using ISBLANK() function and manage your formula logic.
    2. You can just wrap the formula within IFERROR(<your_formula_here>, "") to not display the error. (Or you can put custom text like "Missing Dates" if you want)
