Is there a formula that will keep a running history of values entered into a cell?

Looking for a way to keep a running history of text values that are entered into a cell. For example, 'today's status' and 'historical status log'.

You can either use the Activity Log or a copy row Workflow and collect the history in another sheet.

I am stumped on the formula.

I've created a destination sheet that will contain copied rows each time BK Current Notes is updated.

"BK History Notes" is where the formula would be.

=JOIN(COLLECT({DesinationSheet_BKCurrentNotes}, [Special Identifier]@row))
