Index/Match
in sheet1 pulling data from sheet2
Sheet2 is 49 columns, set up a reference for column 2-49. not all cells have date in it.
when i do the match, i thought it would pull up the row number,
on the index - i would tell it what column to pull the data from. the date giveing me is from the next row.
the results are not giving me the Match row number.
=MATCH([System No]@row, {Schedule Range 4}, 0)
=INDEX({Schedule Range 4}, MATCH([System No]@row, {Schedule Range 4}, 0), 37)
can you help in telling me what i am doing wrong.

Is there the possibility of a date being in all 48 of those columns, or are you just wanting to search a single column for a date?

Hope you are fine, Could you add a screenshot for your sheet after removing any sensitive data

found the problem
Schedule Rangeg 3, referenced another sheet, the whole sheet.
changed it to a single column and it worked.
=MATCH([System No]@row, {Schedule Range 3}, 0)

That's what I was thinking. That's why I asked which column(s) dates could be in. Glad you figured it out.
