Hello,

I had a hyperlink living in a sheet and did a vlookup to another sheet to pull the hyperlink in which worked. However, once I went to the original sheet where the hyperlink was and changed the display name of the hyperlink, it worked on that sheet, but the vlookup on the other sheet does not provide the link only the display name and nothing happens when you click the display name.

Can you advise how I can get the display name to carry over with the hyperlink?

Unfortunately it does not work that way. Even with direct cell references in the same sheet, the only way to get a working hyperlink to pull is to leave it as the URL. If you change the display to some specific text, then only the text will pull.

Please do take a moment to Submit a Product Enhancement Request when you are able as it would be great if we could pull hyperlinks with displayed text that is not the URL.
