Developing a Portfolio Roadmap - Apostrophe being added to formula

I'm trying to develop a Portfolio Roadmap (Gantt View) that is driven by both the Start / Finish dates of Live project schedules and planned Start / Finish dates of future projects.

Start / Finish columns = Linked to Live project schedule for approved projects

Portfolio Plan Start / Finish columns = Manually entered for proposals (future program / portfolio planning)

Roadmap Start / Finish = Formula driven to use appropriate date above based on [Project Status] and also drives the Gantt Chart

The problem is that whenever I enter a formula in the Roadmap Start column, an apostrophe is being added to the beginning of the formula. All columns are date only.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now to use formulas in the Start/End Date Columns set in the Project Settings when you're using the Dependencies feature, but it's an excellent idea!

Added "@row" in the formula, but it's still adding the apostrophe.

'=IF([Project Status]@row="04 Planning and Design", [Start]@row, [Portfolio Plan Start]@row)

@Andrée Starå Thank you for confirming this. I suspected it had something to with the type of field. I ended up scheduling time with the Pro Desk to see if we could come up with an alternative solution.

We really need this view of all proposals and projects, but don’t necessarily have the templates created through Control Center at this point in the project initiation phase.
