Reference the "Launch Date" in my dashboard

Hello, I've created a Dashboard for my project. I want to show the project Launch date, but I want it to reference the cell on my smartsheet, rather than manually enter the date. Do I need to create a formula for this to use on the dashboard?

@MatthewVC I would recommend you use a metric widget that is linked to the cell you use as Launch Date.

HI Dale, that was my thought, but doesn't the metric widget need data in cells next to each other? Do I need to set up a formula for this?
