Cell linking to sheet summaries
Hello friends,
I'm attempting to create a new grid that links to sheet summary data in a few different spaces so my one grid autopopulates while the other sheet summaries change. Is this possible?
Thanks!

I meant creating separate columns entirely for the summaries. How are you using a VLOOKUP to look at sheet summary fields?

Hi!
You can create a new report and select sheet summary report, select the sheets and fields. You should be able to see the sheet summary data.

If you are wanting to link to other sheets' sheet summary fields, you will have to move those sheet summary fields into cells on the sheet itself.

@Paul Newcome My source sheet is constantly receiving data from form submissions. Would I be able to embed the formula into the sheet itself and not have it disrupt the form submissions?

You can use hidden columns and put them on any row(s). Something like this I would add a column per field and list all data going out in a single row that I know won't be removed from the sheet.

@Paul Newcome hmm that wouldnt work either because it would mess with my formulas that currently add everything in the column (formula ex: column name:column name) and so the hidden values would include the summary values.
However , you gave me the idea to VLOOKUP in the seperate grid!
