COUNTIFS formula question combining date condition and text condition
Why does the first formula fail when it is a combination of the bottom 2? The column is a Text/Number column
Asia formula: =COUNTIFS({CSA UK Surveillance Region}, =[Primary Column]@row, {CSA UK Surveillance Db. Expiry Date}, <TODAY(+90))
Europe formula: =COUNTIFS({CSA UK Surveillance Db. Expiry Date}, <TODAY(+90))
North America formula: =COUNTIFS({CSA UK Surveillance Region}, =[Primary Column]@row)

COUNTIFS gets a little weird when incorporating dates and text strings.
First try @cell references:
=COUNTIFS({CSA UK Surveillance Region}, @cell=[Primary Column]@row, {CSA UK Surveillance Db. Expiry Date}, @cell<TODAY(+90))
If that doesn't work, usually rearranging my range/criteria sets so that the dates come first fixes it for me:
=COUNTIFS({CSA UK Surveillance Db. Expiry Date}, @cell<TODAY(+90), {CSA UK Surveillance Region}, @cell=[Primary Column]@row)

Thanks, Paul
Unfortunately, I am still getting #INCORRECT ARGUMENT when I try either of your suggestions.

Have you double and triple checked to ensure the column on the reference sheet housing the dates is set to a date type column?

Fair question. :) Yes, it is set to a Date format.
