How to include today's date in automated 'send as attachment' emails?

hi,

I am trying to include today's date (date on which the automated email is sent) as part of either the subject line or message body when I use 'Send As Attachment' function for a Smartsheet Report. Is this doable?

There currently isn't a way to dynamically add in Today's date into the Subject line or Message for a "Send as Attachment" automation from a Report. Please let the Product team know of your request by filling in this form, here!

I will note that saying "Today" may be enough as the email should come with a date stamp, depending on your email provider. I hope that helps!

There isn't a way to dynamically add the date to the Subject or Body of a Report's "Send as Attachment" feature, no. You could have a Date column in your Report that records Today's Date every day using an automation in the underlying sheet if that helps.
