Creating an Actual start,  Actual finish, Actual Duration columns,

I have created those columns on my smartsheet for the purpose of tracking but I would like to make them default calculators for my project leaving my Start Date and End Date as baseline dates

But the columns I created would not allow dates to be altered with Smartsheet prompting me to remove predecessor links first in, I want to see my Actual duration column also calculating as I make changes to my actual start & actual finish dates

This seem to be proving really tough!!!!  see snapshot

Anyone done this before ??? pls share the trick if you know,  thanks
