Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

Thanks for your follow-up message.

The process that I'm trying to set-up is when a person is assigned a question/defect entered in the Validation Questions log, I want them to receive an email notification, from Smartsheet, that a question has been assigned to them as opposed to them having to login to Smartsheet and check if any questions/defects have been entered & assigned to them. I thought I could set up this process in Smartsheet via automation workflow, however, I've not been successful in getting it done.
