Absolute Reference
I am working on creating a formula that hides behind a checkbox.
I have the formula working where it checks a value in a cell and then checks to see if that value exists in a list on another page and if it doesn't it checks the box Just having issues with the formula disappearing if I manually untick the box.
What I can't seem to do is make the reference to the list on the second page absolute, as soon as I use the $ in the formula it stops working.
Eventually I am going to use this formula build in a company master sheet, and when I fill the formula down I need it to continually change the reference cell with each line, but I need the list on the second sheet to remain absolute

Cross sheet references are only absolute. You should not need to "lock it in".
