Can you use a resource as the search-value in vlookup ?

You can use a resource. The issue is the closing curly bracket should be immediately after the range name, but you have it at the end of the formula.

I have a project task sheet and assign resources to a task from my contact list. I have a separate sheet recording hourly rates for each person in the contact list.
The task has hours allocated to it, and I just want to lookup the hourly rate of the resource and multiply it by the hours to get a cost.
Iget an incorrect argument error and suspect its because I can't use the resource as an input (search item) in the vlookup formula. Would that be right ?
