I am trying to get the keyboard shortcut to indent rows on OSX. I am using a Swedish keyboard layout and cant seem to get the suggested shortcut to work.

Anyone solved this? Squared bracket is located on ALT+8 ALT+9 on my keyboard...

Hi (Hej) Mattias,

It's hardcoded in my back. I think it's cmd+m and cmd+k. I'll check later when I'm back on my computer. 

Now I've checked and it's CMD+K to indent and CMD+M to outdent.

Hi Andrée,

Thank you very much! In Spanish also goes with Ctrl+K and Ctrl+M.

I don't know why Smartsheet doesn't fix the shortcuts tooltip according to the language/keyboard.

Lets keep this thread alive since I now try some keyboard shortcuts on a HP Elitebook with Chrome browser.

First problem, this laptop lacks the insert key, so how do I insert a row above?

Second problem, trying to indent with Ctrl + ] (right bracket), but all that happens is that I type a right bracket...

Insert = Ctrl+I

Indent/Outdent= Ctrl+M / Ctrl+K

Ctrl +I is a no-go.. Thats keyboard shortcut for Italic

Ctrl+M / Ctrl+K seems to work! Someone at Smartsheet might want to update the page with shortcuts linked in this thread and also the tooltip in Smartsheet app

Its a new year and I am still struggling with the keyboard shortcut for Insert on this HP Elitebook and Google Chrome...

Have you checked the keyboard settings on the laptop?

You could also try remapping the key.

Remapping keys with additional software is a no-go. This is a company laptop given to me for this project, no rights to install on it.

After some searching I found a description of the helpfullness from HP. They have apparently hidden the INSERT function under Fn+E. 

got to love the logic!
