#UNPARSEABLE Error

Hey guys. I'm using the formula below to count the number of times "Requirement" appears in a column (Level). It seems like a basic formula and that I followed the syntax exactly but I'm still receiving an UNPARSEABLE error. Help?

=COUNTIF(Level:Level),"Requirement")

=COUNTIF(Level:Level,"Requirement")

That does. Literally, 3 minutes ago, as I tinkered with the formula, I realize I had an extra parenthesis. Thanks for your help!
