Importing files to existing sheet deletes all Filters in the Sheet !!
I created a sheet with prebuilt filters, I thought i could import new data to that sheet with no impact to the filters. The import wiped out ALL MY FILTERS and renamed the sheet to the .xls file name.
This is breaking my process to reimport files each week and use my filters to assess new data rows added to the sheet.
Help Please.

Hi @Rick Girard
I hope you're well and safe!
You're not importing it to the sheet with the filters. It always creates a new one.
You could move the rows from the new one to the one with the filters.
Make sense?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

thanks Adree, the issue is new columns are sometimes added as well, will a copy of existing data rows and new rows be allowed ? Also is there a means to copy and import the filters to a new sheet ?

sorry that was not correct, I meant to say new data with existing COLUMNS and NEW COLUMNS ....
