Update field only before submit request
Hi
I would like send request to one contact and when the contact submits the response of request I would like to start automatically another workflow and send another request to other contact. Maybe the first contact as well not change any value of the request and only submit the request and then how I would know he submited the request to automatically start another workflow.

Hi @bcncarlesc,
I know you mentioned wanting to avoid a status column, but I think that may be your best bet. This will confirm a human actually reviewed the item even if no other changes were needed. This status column would then be a good trigger for the next part of the workflow.

Hi @bcncarlesc,
You could use a status column to trigger the next step in the workflow. Can we see a screenshot of your automations to understand better what the goal is?

Hi hollyconradsmith,
Thanks for your answer :)
These are the 2 steps.
First I want CAM team check the configuration for each asset and submit the update.
When CAM team send the update I would like automatically launch the aprovation by the owner of the asset
I don't see any Column we can define Status with automatically update.
This is the workflow
I tried to update value using Change cell value and updating one field after the update from CAM Team, but this process is before the submit by CAM TEAM
My problem is how I know CAM Team has updated the Assets configuration. I don't want to add Status field on the first Request and CAM Team must change to done. I tried to update using Chance cell Value but this event is before the update by CAM Team
Thanks in advance for your feedback

If I have no other way I will use this way but of course if the cAM team forgets to change the status the second flow will not be triggered. I would have liked avoid the mistake
Thanks for your help
Kind Regards
