Placeholders as triggered by a condition

Hello again community!

Is there a way to use placeholders in a notification that only show 1 value if the condition is met??

For example, l have an automation setup to trigger if any of 3 conditions are met. In the subject/body of the notification l have added the column names' placeholders, but since all of the conditions are being met (so far) the notification shows all numbers:

    Hi @Silvia Rangel

    I hope you're well and safe!

    You could either have multiple Condition Paths in the Workflow with the different options or add a so-called helper column in the sheet with a formula that only shows what triggered the Workflow. Then you'd reference it in the Message in the Workflow.

    Make sense?

    Would any of those options work/help?

    I hope that helps!

    Be safe and have a fantastic week!

  • Hello @Andrée Starå !

    I have the conditional paths set, but my issue is that sometimes the submitter(s) enters all 3 fields, sometimes only 1-2, etc. and it's hard to know which one it'll be at any given time, so l am trying to setup for any that might be entered. Meaning that if only 1 condition is met, that will be shown in the notification Subject and the body of the email, but if 2 or all conditions are met that show as well with some sort of separation, if it makes sense???

    @Silvia Rangel

    Then I would recommend the helper column with a formula solution to make it work.

    Make sense?
