Metric Widget/Reports Formatting on Dashboard

Hi Guys,

I'm just diving into dashboard creation, and am adding Metric Widgets and reports on my sheet. My question is there a way to modify the width of the columns? It seems like the columns are the same width, with no way of modifying them. I'd like the date column to by thinner, and the desctription column to be wider, otherwise the overall size of the widget gets to be too big. It looks like the same is on the reports as well. Does anyone know a way to modify the column widths?

@Byron Hu ,

In report widgets, the column width can be adjusted by opening the report itself and adjusting the column width as needed. I don't think the metric widget's columns can be adjusted individually - both columns seem to autosize based on the overall width of the widget.

I am having this issue as well and the data are coming from the Summary fields in the Sheet not from a report. Adjusting the report columns does nothing in this case

Same issue… I am pulling the information from Sheet Summary data. There does not seem to be a way to adjust the width of the cells. Has anyone figured this out? Would this be considered an "enhancement request"?

And nothing has been done yet on this. Makes one wonder what enhancements ARE getting implemented by Smartsheet. Would love to see a metric widget on that.
