I am hoping to create a comparison chart using dates from a few separate sheets.
In the graph, I would like to pull a sum of Column A that is dependent on a date of Column B that is prior to today.
@CMI Can you please provide an example of how the sheets are setup?
@Garrett Henke Here is an example of the raw data. I have a few separate sheets that capture dates and metrics associated with that date. As you can see, there can be multiple entries on any given day that result in the sum listed in Column5. What I am trying to represent is the metric based on the date, using the current date to dictate the comparison.
To put another way, if today is the 17th of November, I would like to return the historic sum up to the 17th for purposes of comparison with a YTD metric. The YTD portion is no problem, but I am struggling to figure out how to return the number from any prior year. This may be a VLOOKUP with a condition for MM/DD?
