month ()

i am trying to get the month from pulling the year and week. I have looked at a lot of post and it says the same formula. I have added it and it worked good for month 1 but get an "invalid value" for month 2 and on.

can you let me know what i am doing wrong.

=MONTH(DATE(Year@row, 1, Week@row * 7 - 2) - WEEKDAY(DATE(Year@row, 1, 3)))

@Stephen Hindes How are the columns you are using formatted and do you have a full data column that you could use to calculate the month?

Year, Week and Month columns are text that i enter.

month i tried making it a date, or text.

i am trying to get a number as the month.

Can you clarify in writing what it is you're looking to do?

If you have a Date column in your cell, you can simply use =MONTH(Date@row) to return the Month Number. It would be helpful if we could see a screen capture of your sheet, too, but please block out sensitive data.
