Equivalent of '$' in an excel formula string

I want to keep the cell of the sheet and copy the formula i have to the next cell. I tried both @row and @cell after the cell name but neither keeps the cell name in the new next cell location, it shifts right.

In excel i can use $cellname to keep the original cell position and copy that to any new cell in the row.

Whats the smartsheet version of this ?

    here is the specific example:

    =VLOOKUP([Opportunity Num]@row, {SDR Deal Candidates 100K.xls - 012922 Range 2}, 3, false)

I want to lock Opportunity Num cell so it carries over to another column , I tried:

    =VLOOKUP([$Opportunity Num]@row, {SDR Deal Candidates 100K.xls - 012922 Range 2}, 3, false)

    =VLOOKUP([$Opportunity Num$]@row, {SDR Deal Candidates 100K.xls - 012922 Range 2}, 3, false)

    =VLOOKUP([Opportunity Num]@cell, {SDR Deal Candidates 100K.xls - 012922 Range 2}, 3, false)

    doesn't work...

never mind! just found the secret sauce:

    =VLOOKUP($[Opportunity Num]@row, {SDR Deal Candidates 100K.xls - 012922 Range 2}, 3, false)

    that works.

    thank you
