Import File Name

Hi

I am trying to have smartsheets add a new row each time a new file is placed within a specified folder on a pc.

Then add the name of that file to a cell on the new row.

Any thoughts

You could explore PowerAutomate for this task. PowerAutomate is the workflow app of Microsoft. Depending on your Microsoft license, you may already have access. PowerAutomate has a built in integration with smartsheet. If I was faced with your task, this would be the first approach I would try.

From a quick google - This flow gets a filename from a folder location. You can find more flows, from different locations, from the powerautomate community. The have a forum (of course not as great as this community 😉) similar to this one.
