I tried this formula to count the number of boxes marked with the checkbox but not having much luck.

    Try something like this.

    • If it's placed in another column, than the range.
    =COUNTIFS([CHECKBOX FY-21]:[CHECKBOX FY-21], 1)
    
    • If it's placed in the same column as the range.
    =COUNTIFS([CHECKBOX FY-21]:[CHECKBOX FY-21], 1)+""
