Report changes specific to user

Hi all, I am sharing the report with the users along with access, so they can use the "filter criteria" and "groups" option as per their need, but it seems these are not user centric. If the changes are saved, everyone is able to have the same view. Will it be possible in Reports to restrict the view specific to the users?

And also the "filter criteria" and "groups" option are accessible only in Admin and Owner views but not in the editor view.

Have you tried showing them how to filter and sort on the sheet itself?

Yes, but how will that help as they need to remove the changes on filters every time

If they do not check the box to "share filter" then no one else will be able to use the filter and it will not have that filter applied when someone else logs in.

Paul is referencing the sheet Filter option and not the Report, but I assume that the sheet option won't work because you have multiple sheets in the Report range, correct?

Here's the setting in the Sheet.

Yes. The filter I was referring to is a sheet filter, but as Andree said, that may not be ideal now that we know you are referencing multiple sheets.

You could also show the users how to "Save as new" to create their own report where they can adjust their own filters.
