Cell linking for multiple dates (not just 2 dates)
My company is trying to create a functional schedule for every department. I've looked through many videos trying to find a formula and layout that will work for this schedule. Also not every item goes through every department and some revisit certain departments. I would really appreciate any and all help I can get with this issue.

It sounds like you have multiple sheets for different departments, all with different tasks and dates, is that correct?
If so, I would suggest bringing together the rows you want to see from each department into a Report, versus using formulas and a sheet. This way you can make adjustments directly in the Report if needed and it will update the underlying sheet(s), too.
See this webinar for more information: SmartStart: Reporting
If this isn't what you're looking to do, it would be helpful to see screen captures of your set-up and a detailed description of what you want as the end-goal.
Cheers,
Genevieve
