substrate a cell from another cell -> error

Hi Experts,

I try to do a simple substation, but I always get the error (Invalid operation).

I would like to get the result 1,5 - 3= -1,5

But I have the feeling that 1,5 is not identified as a number.

The formula in column "Treshhold TBD" is like this

=IF([Dev Type]@row = "NM", "1,5", IF(OR([Dev Type]@row = "EM", [Dev Type]@row = "NT", [Dev Type]@row = "TN", [Dev Type]@row = "TD"), "7,5", ""))

How can I fix it? Thanks

When numbers are enclosed in quotes, smartsheet may mistakenly treat the value as text rather than as a number. Remove quotes from around the numbers.

=IF([Dev Type]@row = "NM", 1,5, IF(OR([Dev Type]@row = "EM", [Dev Type]@row = "NT", [Dev Type]@row = "TN", [Dev Type]@row = "TD"), 7,5, ""))
