Can I use a 'Form View' to update existing rows in a sheet?

I have created our Issue Management Process in Smartsheet - including many workstreams. Updates to the document are made regularly by a number of people.

The problem is that the Issue Log has now many columns and it became cumbersome to update when working horizontally in the sheet format.

What would really be nice if one could work vertically and 'scroll' through the columns. Is there any way that can be accomplished?

Control + E with any cell in the row you want to edit. Or the 3 dots and then edit
