Smartsheet Admin license/Creating an App

I have been tasked with creating an app using the Smartsheet API/SDK. Our company only has a fixed number of licenses and does not plan on purchasing any more so I have to get an admin license transferred to me. I plan on creating an app in developer tools and storing the client id/secret in Azure Vault. Should I have the admin license transferred to my user id or a service account? I would think my personal user id but just want to make sure.

I would suggest using a service account for this. It will be easier down the line to transfer the service account email access within your company.
