Automatically adding an identifier when a row is added using a Form

Basically, i have run into a little problem where we are using smart sheet to track changes that occur on our project so I built a form so co workers could input data seamlessly but to track them I needed a unique identifier and I for the life of me can not figure out how to make it add one automatically. I have to manually do it for each row that's added. So my question is what kind of formula do I need to use to make this happen?

If you add an Auto-Number system column to the sheet, it will populate a unique value for every row that gets created. It won't be on the form, but will populate automatically for the new records when they are submitted.
