Convert all text to UPPER CASE

Hello,

Can someone please explain to me why this formula is "UNPARSEABLE" when trying to convert all text in a single column to UPPER CASE?

=UPPER([LICENSE PLATE/UNIT]@ROW)

Try something like this. (ROW should be row)

=UPPER([LICENSE PLATE/UNIT]@row)
