Free Trial user to Free Collaborator

Hi, I am a licenced user of Smartsheet. I have a staff member on a Free Trial that runs out in 16 days. How do I change the staff member to a Free Collaborator, so they have ongoing access to Smartsheet to update shared sheets and reports?

Hi @Anthony Horneman,

you cannot change the external trial account to an internal free collaborator, as the account is external.

If you are a Smartsheet admin for your company account, you can add the person with the email address as an unlicensed user to your corporate account.

Maybe the person will need to delete/cancel the trial account to "free" the email address.
