Formula for checkbox column

I need a column formula that check marks all the children rows if the main parent row is checked.

I hope you're well and safe!

Unfortunately, combining a Column Formula and manual input is impossible.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Create a so-called helper column where you'd check the children rows with something like =PARENT() with your column name.

Would that work/help?

Hi!

This should work but what should I put as the column formula on the "helper active" column?

Also my row ID formula stops at 3. Shouldn't it keep going?

=IF(COUNT(CHILDREN(Project@row)) > 0, COUNT(ANCESTORS()) + 1)
