Populating fields across several docs using formulas - VLOOKUP, IF THEN, ???? Not sure

I have two worksheets that I am trying to populate a couple of fields. I have a dropdown/single select column in both worksheets that contain names. I am trying to populate the address, email, phone, etc from one doc to another.

So If this name is the same from Column A in Sheet 1 and Column B in Sheet 2, I want to copy Column C in Sheet 2 into Column B in Sheet 1. It's a total of about 300 names in the the dropdown columns in both sheets but only one sheet has the additional info that I want copied/populated in the other sheet.

Example:

John Smith is in both worksheets but his address is only in worksheet 1 and I need to populate it in sheet 2 in the correct row with John Smith's other info.

I have tried VLookUp but not working for me.

What isn't working? Any error message?

As long as you have something unique as the name or something else that can be used to connect the correct rows, it should work with cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets. When you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.
