Assign People Automation

I'm using an Assign people automation to fill in contacts for several roles based on criteria or check boxes entered on a form.

Each condition path should add a name to a different cell. It's only adding the first one. If I edit any cell and save, it adds the next one and so on.

Attached screenshot.

What am I missing? Is there a better way? do I need several automations?

Thanks!

    Hi @Linda Sears

    I hope you're well and safe!

    The conditional paths stop when something is true. Similar to an IF formula.

    I'd recommend creating multiple Workflows instead.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

    Be safe and have a fantastic week!

  • Thank you Andrée, I was hoping there'd be a way to check/action all the paths.

    Can I follow up... 10 separate assign people workflows seems cumbersome. Maybe it's fine? I'll do it if it's the best way.

    I want it to be easy to change the roster, but I only want the updated roster to apply to new rows.

    I thought about cross sheet link formulas, using a linked sheet with just the role names and people (some would be multi-contact) but I don't know if that would work. Also, I don't know how to preserve history - old rows should continue to show original people.

    @Linda Sears

    Happy to help!

    Another method could be to use formulas instead and a reference table or similar.
