Locking a parent row

Hello

I have a template where the a parent row is a project phase, and the children beneath are tasks

I need to lock the parent row to stop Users editing the project stage as its impacting my portfolios summary. If I lock the parent, will it lock any children (tasks) beneath?

I dont think its does - there is no 'lock' symbol but wanted to check!

No, it will only lock the Parent row if you've only selected that.

@Andrée Starå is there a way to automatically lock parent rows or does this have to be done manually every time?
